The Marina Service Associate/Dockhand performs a variety of tasks and duties from greeting boaters as they dock, assists in basic boating skills to help boaters arriving and departing the marina, and adheres and practices safety procedures. Works with their co-workers in a team spirit to ensure smooth and efficient marine operations. Follows the direction of the General Manager or Management to complete daily tasks in a safe, efficient and effective manner.

Roles & Responsibilities:

 Maintains pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients

 Acknowledges and greets guests/boaters with a professional and friendly demeanor using the 10 to 5 Hospitality rule.

 Provides guests with information about marina, internet, and/or amenities of the facility as well as main attractions in the area

 Assists arriving boaters by directing them to their designated slip, and assisting in docking procedures.

 Ties lines to secure boat safely to dock

 Hooks up vessels to electric pedestals and troubleshoots electrical issues/tripped breakers.

 Assists boaters with directions, reservations, troubleshooting, and other inquiries.

 Delivers messages, items and/or guest amenities as requested

 Explains rates for transient guests and accepts payment using the POS system

 Completes all tasks in a timely manner as instructed by the General Manager

 Follows all appearance standards.

 Maintains clean, neat work environment including all surrounding areas of dock, marina lobby, restrooms, trash receptacles, and outdoor area.

 Follows site specific safety and security procedures

 Reports all accidents and incidents observed on shift to supervisor or General Manager immediately

 Uses only equipment trained to use and operates all equipment in a safe manner

 Reports all potential hazards and safety concerns to General Manager

Position Summary:

Kitchen Manager oversees the daily operations of the restaurant's back-of-house, ensuring food quality, staff efficiency, and strict adherence to safety standards. The role will also assist in menu design and have culinary creativity to deliver a great dining experience for the Boater and community at large while maintaining profitability.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead by example and provides mentoring, performance management and training to the back of the house and front of house staff.

• Responsible for hiring, training, and scheduling kitchen staff (cooks, prep, dishwashers) while monitoring performance and resolving conflicts.

• Directs daily kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooing and plating and ensuring consistency with taste and portion sizes.

• Tracks stock levels, ordering supplies from vendors, and managing deliveries to prevent shortages.

• Conducts inventory of food and liquor and adheres to the internal controls and policies for inventory management.

• Schedules and ensures proper sanitation and cleanliness of the kitchen area; assigns deep cleaning and regular cleaning schedule.

• Prepares /reviews daily , weekly and monthly reports on food and labor costs, keeps logs on waste and other standard kitchen practices.

• Works with outside vendors such as ecolab and others to ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness of area.

• Enforces and adheres to health and sanitation regulations (e.g., ServSafe) and inspecting dishes for consistency and proper temperature.

• Responsible for food and labor costs, managing the kitchen budget, and implementing waste-reduction strategies.

• Coordinate and work in unison with front-of-house (FOH) management to align service timing and handle customer feedback regarding food.

Marina Forklift Operator/Guest Services is responsible for daily operation, inspection, and maintenance, of heavy marine forklifts. The Marine Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient handling, launching, retrieving, and rack storage of vessels within a dry stack storage facility. This position requires precision operation of large-capacity forklifts in tight warehouse environments, strong situational awareness, and exceptional care when handling high-value customer vessels.

 Coordinate closely with dock staff and dispatch to fulfill launch requests in a timely manner

 Communicate clearly via radio during vessel movements

 Conduct daily equipment inspections and report mechanical issues promptly

 Maintain organized rack layouts and assist with inventory tracking

 Follow all OSHA, marina safety, and environmental compliance standards

 Assist with facility cleanliness, yard organization, and basic maintenance tasks

 Support storm preparation procedures, including securing vessels and facility equipment

 Fuel boats and marina equipment as needed

 Aware and capable of preventing hazardous situations before they become critical

 Reports any hazards, problems, or complaints at the facility to Management and participates in the efficient resolution
