Roles & Responsibilities:

• Greet every guest/boater members & visitors with hospitality in a friendly , warm and courteous manner following Integra’s hospitality standards at all times.

• Answers the phone by the third (3rd) ring in a friendly tone of voice and handles all phone inquiries per the company’s guest standards. Will also handle email inquiries in a timely and efficient manner and seeks help if there are too many in the queue.

• Develop and maintain effective and friendly working relationships with staff , boaters, visitors and dealing with conflict effectively, courteously, and tactfully.

• Respond to member questions regarding service department, ship store or other operational areas.

• Responsible for haul out and launch schedule.

• Accepting and reconciling daily cash, credit and check payments, and following up with past due balances.

• Follow Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related training in a timely manner.

• Communicate to management of any incident with a guest or team member, immediately.

• Wear proper personal protective equipment as required for the task or work area

• Report all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately.

All other duties perform all other duties as assigned, including carrying out responsibilities, performing duties, using skills, and working in conditions necessary to perform all assigned tasks.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent GED

• Experience with Customer Service or Hospitality

• Conducts daily walk through of the Marina for cleanliness , safety, equipment and general areas and follow up with the team to delegate and assign follow up tasks.

• Handles daily boater and visitor interactions, inquiries and concerns.

• Ensures staff are in their respective work areas and carrying out assignments.

• May work on various administrative functions such as inventory management, reservations management, report administration, time and attendance and payroll management.

• May assist with selection and hiring of new staff.

• Attends required meeting and lead meetings when needed.

• Assists with emergency management in case of storms , flooding or inclement weather and helps with preparations to ensure safety of boaters ,visitors and employees

• Coordinates with sales and marketing initiatives ; may be asked to work on event management or attend trade shows or boating events to promote the Marina.

• Maintains an open line of communication with the General Manager and the entire team

• Ensuring each slip holder’s file is maintained, containing a signed contract and insurance; Provide renewals to customers.

• Ensure transient reservations, arrivals, departures, and stays are well managed and meet customer expectations.

• Maintain positive relationships with tenants, contractors, and local authorities

• Comply with OSHA, EPA, DEEP and Department of Labor rules and regulations

• Report all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality or related preferred

Required Skills/Abilities:

Must possess a valid DL and current auto insurance; must pass insurance DMV clearance

  • Skill in utilizing financial forecasts and industry trends, initiating specials, promotions, or other proactive marketing.

• Ability to participate and manage the sales, leasing, and contract management for all revenue streams including but not limited to dockage, storage, retail, and service.

• Ability to monitor and track accounts receivable and create collection plans.

• Skill in preparing annual operating budget.

• Ability to analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, project consequences of proposed actions, and implement recommendations in support of goals
