Job Summary:

The Dockmaster

is responsible for several areas of the marina operations and all slip activity

under the direction of the General Manager. This role will serve as the

ambassador for the marina and is the first person with whom a Boater/Guest will

interact.  The Dockmaster is responsible for the safe mooring of vessels,

general operation of the docks, assisting boaters and responding to general

questions, supporting front desk operations and maintaining a safe and clean

environment throughout the marina facilities. In addition , he/she serves as

part of the leadership team and helps with training and supervision.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

·       Assists in supervising and

training team members

Roles & Responsibilities:

Routinely inspects, conducts walk throughs and ensures above average appearance of facility.

Assist the General Manager in creating a daily

checklist of tasks and assign to team members appropriately and/or may take on

the tasks to ensure that the Marina is in Best in Class shape.

Provides support, setup and maintenance of all wet slip account files using Molo

/POS system.

·      

Provides appropriate assistance to customers, vendors, officials and team

members

·      

Communicates with boaters and potential leads and guests in a professional manner at all times. Resolves customer disputes in a manner consistent with Integra

Marina’s philosophy and policy. Refers all disputes outside scope of abilities to the

General Manager. 

·      

Perform administrative/frontdesk  duties (i.e., Molo

reservations , guest inquiries, billing , answering calls, etc.). 

·      

Direct, move, assist and securely moor vessels

to dock

·      

Ensures that Boaters and Team Members observe

all marina rules and regulations

Safety and

Job Summary:

The Marina Officer Manager oversees the administration of the Marina operations to ensure excellent service is provided to Boaters/Visitors. Reporting to the General Manager, he/she will be assigned with administrative tasks and responsibilities that help to run the operations and ensures proper communication with the Boaters/Guests/Visitors. He/she is the liaison with Corporate Accounting and work closely with POS , rent rolls , slip reservation systems , daily financial reports, invoicing/billing. Job Summary: The General Manager leads, directs, and manages the entire Marina operation including boat yard, services, and ship store. This is a key role and he/she sets the tone for the entire team and leads by example by consistently living by Integra’s core values and principles.

In addition, the General Manager is highly responsible for many facets and possesses specialized knowledge and experience to manage complex multi-revenue operations: budgets, revenue generation, guest experience, administrative services, reservations system management, safety /environmental regulations, retail operations, employee relations, hiring/selecting, training, boat service maintenance, community outreach, short- & long-range planning. The General Manager reports to the Director of Marina Operations but will report indirectly to the Chief of Marina Operations, and to the Owners/Principals.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Leadership:

• Leads, motivates, and directs the team to ensure that they fulfill the company’s principles, goals and objectives.

• Lead day-to-day operations and management of the business.

• Lead and motivate the team to deliver superior guest services in all facets of operations.

• Ensure high quality standards are being followed: guest service, cleanliness, organization, and administrative services.

Budget /Financial:

• Reviews daily reports: reservations and sales , A/R for delinquent/collections.

• Follow up on A/R and works with accounting to ensure proper collection of payment.

• Responsible for fuel pricing and reordering; and checks daily fuel sales

• Provides input on planning and budget as directed.

• Ensures all Team members have punched in/out or designates this task to another manager.

• Prepares and reviews payroll in a timely manner.

• Provides supervision and direction to the Marina Ship’s Store, including maintenance of proper inventories of Marina merchandise, bait, fuel, ice and beverages.

• Meets or exceeds retail budgets.

• Oversee the direct administrative activities of the marina operations.

• Set prices or credit terms for goods or services, based on forecasts of customer demand.

• Fully responsible for safe handling of cash/credit cards, and for collection of all services rendered.

Marketing:

• Develops and cultivates positive relationships with the boating community and neighboring business/residents relating in a business-like manner in Marina policy matters.

• Stimulates boating interest by promoting tournaments, boating and special events.

• Maximizes slip and rack rental occupancy and ensures that rental space is most effectively utilized.

• Coordinate, as directed, the Marine Service shop activity to maximize profits while causing service availability to be well received by the Marina boaters.

Safety Operations/Maintenance:

• Responsible for proper open/close of Marina, maintain proper staffing to operate efficiently.

• Implement or oversee environmental management or sustainability programs addressing marine, ocean environment.

• Enforce Marina Rules and Regulations.

• Responsible for maintenance of all Marina equipment.

• Establish high standards of cleanliness, plant maintenance and professional service to Tenants, and enforce the same through equally high standards of Employee conduct and performance.

• Conduct Safety Meetings.

• Ensure injury /incident reporting is done immediately; report any accidents/incidents timely and proactive to reduce liabilities and risks to owners, tenants, guests and team members.

• Responsible for haul out and launch schedule.

• Accepting and reconciling daily cash, credit and check payments, and following up with past due balances.

• Communicate to management of any incident with a guest or team member, immediately.

• Wear proper personal protective equipment as required for the task or work area

• Report all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately.

Job Summary: The General Manager leads, directs, and manages the entire Marina operation including boat yard, services, and ship store. This is a key role and he/she sets the tone for the entire team and leads by example by consistently living by Integra’s core values and principles.

In addition, the General Manager is highly responsible for many facets and possesses specialized knowledge and experience to manage complex multi-revenue operations: budgets, revenue generation, guest experience, administrative services, reservations system management, safety /environmental regulations, retail operations, employee relations, hiring/selecting, training, boat service maintenance, community outreach, short- & long-range planning. The General Manager reports to the Director of Marina Operations but will report indirectly to the Chief of Marina Operations, and to the Owners/Principals.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Leadership:

• Leads, motivates, and directs the team to ensure that they fulfill the company’s principles, goals and objectives.

• Lead day-to-day operations and management of the business.

• Lead and motivate the team to deliver superior guest services in all facets of operations.

• Ensure high quality standards are being followed: guest service, cleanliness, organization, and administrative services.

• Use conflict resolution to problem solve issues as they arise.

• Escalate any issues on CapEx Capital improvement projects

Workforce Planning /Labor Management:

Team Development/Employee Relations:

Budget /Financial:

• Responsible for overall P&L to meet or exceed budget expectations for the entire Marina operations.

• Review financial statements, sales or activity reports, or other performance data to measure productivity or goal achievement or to identify areas needing cost reduction or program improvement.

• Reviews daily reports: reservations and sales , A/R for delinquent/collections.

• Follow up on A/R and works with accounting to ensure proper collection of payment.

• Responsible for fuel pricing and reordering; and checks daily fuel sales

• Provides input on planning and budget as directed.

• Ensures all Team members have punched in/out or designates this task to another manager.

• Prepares and reviews payroll in a timely manner.

• Provides supervision and direction to the Marina Ship’s Store, including maintenance of proper inventories of Marina merchandise, bait, fuel, ice and beverages.

• Meets or exceeds retail budgets.

• Oversee the direct administrative activities of the marina operations.

• Set prices or credit terms for goods or services, based on forecasts of customer demand.

• Fully responsible for safe handling of cash/credit cards, and for collection of all services rendered.

Marketing:

• Develops and cultivates positive relationships with the boating community and neighboring business/residents relating in a business-like manner in Marina policy matters.

• Stimulates boating interest by promoting tournaments, boating and special events.

• Maximizes slip and rack rental occupancy and ensures that rental space is most effectively utilized.

• Coordinate, as directed, the Marine Service shop activity to maximize profits while causing service availability to be well received by the Marina boaters.

Safety Operations/Maintenance:

• Responsible for proper open/close of Marina, maintain proper staffing to operate efficiently.

• Implement or oversee environmental management or sustainability programs addressing marine, ocean environment.

• Enforce Marina Rules and Regulations.

• Responsible for maintenance of all Marina equipment.

• Establish high standards of cleanliness, plant maintenance and professional service to Tenants, and enforce the same through equally high standards of Employee conduct and performance.

• Conduct Safety Meetings.

• Ensure injury /incident reporting is done immediately; report any accidents/incidents timely and proactive to reduce liabilities and risks to owners, tenants, guests and team members.

• Responsible for Marina Security

Education and Experience:

• 4-year degree required in business management or related field/Combination of experience and education.

• At least 5 years of Marina industry experience.

• At least 7 years of management experience.

• Highly recommended as being qualified as a Certified Marina Manager (CMM) and a graduate of the Intermediate/Advanced Marina Management courses.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Must possess a valid DL and current auto insurance; must pass insurance DMV clearance

  • Thorough knowledge of general boat handling, mooring and docking practices applicable to the operation and use of Marina facilities.

• Must have Wet and dry Marina experience.

• Excellent working knowledge of boat operations and proven management background required.

• Excellent guest relations/customer service skills
